The Volunteer Center (2012 AWG Head Office) is located at 308 Wood Street.

Volunteer Center Hours:
Thursday, March 1st - 9am-6pm
Friday, March 2nd - 9am-6pm
Saturday, March 3rd - 8am-8pm
Sunday, March 4th - 8am-4:30pm (hours are limited because of Opening Ceremonies)
Monday, March 5th - 8am-8pm
Tuesday, March 6th - 8am-8pm
Wednesday, March 7th - 9am-5pm
Thursday, March 8th - 9am-5pm
Friday, March 9th - 9am-5pm
Saturday, March 10th - 9am-5pm

Volunteers are the lifeblood that will drive the 2012 Arctic Winter Games. For the Games we will need 2,100 Games-time volunteers to participate in a wide variety of jobs. No matter your interests or skill sets there is a volunteer position for you!

To apply to volunteer for the 2012 Arctic Winter Games follow the link below. The application will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. The application will collect some information about your availability, skills and interests. Based on this information it’ll be our aim to find the best volunteer position for you.

Before you begin your application; remember:

  • You must be at least 14 years of age by December, 31st 2011 to volunteer for the Games.
  • Volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of 12 hours during the Games.
  • Have your contact information available for your application.
